Hi Mel,
Which among your brownies is the moistest? Thanks!
Cherrie – I recommend this Fudgy Brownie recipe or these Caramel Brownies. All of the brownie recipes should be fairly moist though as long as you don’t overbake them. Good luck!
Do you have some recipes for Mini Muffin tins?
Me and my family loved the Triple Chocolate Devil Drops for Christmas. My little cousin couldn’t keep his hands off them. Another favorite Christmas cookie recipe of mine is the Red Velvet Cheesecake Cookies. Made those too for Christmas and they were a hit. You can find the recipe on Poptart Cooking: http://www.poptartcooking.com/recipe/red-velvet-cheesecake-cookies/
I can’t believe that you didn’t include your double chocolate M&M cookies in this! With the holiday green and red M&M’s they are so festive. They’re one of my family’s favorite Christmas cookies. Just made them this morning with my 4 year old and 2 year old. They love sticking the M&M’s on the outside of the dropped dough balls. 🙂
Thank you for the Chocolate Peppermint Cookie recipe! It made me a hero at my friends’ cookie exchange! Btw, I made it with dark chocolate (as I am a dark chocolate fiend) instead of almond bark, and it was AMAZING, just as you suspected!
Julie Hansen, we did Cafe Rio type food for our son’s farewell. Everybody loved it. It goes a long way. And the best part was that most of it could be prepared ahead of time. We tripled all the recipes and fed about 80 people.
Thank you, Mel for the wonderful post. I really enjoy your blog.
Just wanted to say that I love your blog. These collages are my favorites and I have yet to make a recipe of yours that I didn’t like. Thanks for all the time you put into this blog. Love it!
Another clickable collage! Mel, you are amazing & a lifesaver. Especially now that I know what sort of work goes into these collages! I’ve really got my eye on those Killer Crunch Brownies. Might have to make those gluten-free…
YUM!!!! Thank you!
Loved your Sugar Rush!!! So many wonderful treats to enjoy 😉
This comment isn’t exactly related to your AWESOME sugar rush post, but I am wondering if you could help me out with some suggestions. My son’s missionary farewell is coming up in January and I’m trying to plan a menu for a very large crowd. I don’t want to make bbque pulled pork sandwiches- although they are tasty, it’s what everybody makes for a large crowd. Do you have any suggestions??
I figured I must have missed a post somewhere! 🙂 Moderation is a very good thing so I’m glad he isn’t trying to give up everything! (for both of your sakes!)
thanks for the update – sorry I missed the original notice!
Whatever happened to the no treats for a year thing? I know you said you would still keep posting them (with other taste-testers), but is your son still doing it? or am I completely confused and that was some other food blog…?
Hi Kate…that was me! I posted about a week after the declaration that my sweet son had caved in the face of cookie dough fudge so we are on the sweets train again but in moderation…even though my last two weeks of posts belies that.
Nevermind the sugar rush… I am going to be HUGE!!! But happy 🙂 Thanks for these, I can’t wait to try a bunch of them over the holidays!
All of these look so tasty!!
I’m sad to see Sugar Rush 2012 end, and I am already looking forward to Sugar Rush 2013! Now I have to decide which delicious treat to make for friends and family for the Christmas holiday. There are too many to choose from, so I’m sure I am going to make several of your recipes!
