This holiday season I will be making non-nut Turtles (my mother can’t have nuts) I use pretzels, homemade caramels, hard candy, divinity and fudge. The turtles are so easy! Take a small pretzel, place it on waxed paper, add a caramel and a Hershey miniature on top and melt until covered. YUM!
I’m so excited that I’ve found your wonderful site , thank you for sharing these great recipes with everyone I don’t know where to start.
Wow! What a fabulous post! Can’t wait to try lots of these! Just pinned 🙂
It’s okay if I make all of these, right? I’m not really expected to choose just a few from all those options? Thanks for singlehandedly ensuring that I gain at least 5 pounds over the holidays!
oh. my. i think i just gained 10 lbs looking at that collage. . .so yum!
My baby just turned one but my post baby tummy has yet to reflect this joyous milestone so I am going to try my hardest NOT to make any of these–I’m going to try to get by with looking at the photos and drooling. Love, love, love your site! And I have to add that your photos are always so beautiful.
That’s hilarious! I hold onto my thighs every Christmas! I’m now going to have to run many more miles so I can eat all this delightful candy.
I don’t usually make candy for Christmas but this makes me want to!
Would like samples of each, please, and be a professional taster :))
Great list and thanks for sharing!
I make a boatload of candy – it’s my extended family’s favorite Christmas gift. I make fudge, toffee, penuche, pecan logs, candy cane bark, mint truffles, caramels, haystacks, almond joys, etc. Fun stuff, but the cost of chocolate these days almost did me in!
I love making candy at Christmas! I usually just crack open JOY and see what I can find, but I’ll have to check out some of these recipes! Thanks for sharing, Mel!
Thanks for putting this together, Melanie! I’m so glad to see the Black & White Bark made your list!
